Voldemort Concocts A Brilliant Uptown Funk Parody!

Uptown Funk isn’t going away anytime soon, especially with brilliant parodies like this one of the Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars hit. And if parodies like Dark Lord Funk keep hitting the Internet, it’s sure to stay around forever!

Harry Potter fans and music don’t really go together as far as proclaiming love for the franchise is concerned, but when you have a talented bunch of artists having a go at it, there’s isn’t much that can’t be done!

In this parody, Lord Voldemort – oh alright, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named – gets funky with his own set of lyrics and what hits you on-screen is hilarious, talented, and extremely intelligent!

Check this video out and you’ll see why even JK Rowling has fallen in love with this one!

We even have the lyrics for you to sing along!

This Wiz, I’m ice cold

I’m Voldemort, That White Gold

This one, for that H.P.

Says he hates me,

But what can he do?

Caught the kid, boy who lived

Harry’s outta luck

With the Elder wand, stop the chosen one

Maybe make a new horcrux? (Ha!)

I’m too hot (hot hand)

Call an Auror up to try and stop this man

I’m too hot (hot hand)

Make a headmaster retire man

I’m too hot (hot hand)

Don’t say my name, you know who I am!

I’m too hot (hot hand)

Am I bad ‘bout this curse,

Avada down now

Albus sent ya, hallelujah (Whoo)

Albus sent ya, hallelujah (Whoo)

Albus sent ya, hallelujah (Whoo)

Cuz Dark Lord Funk gon’ give it to ya!

Cuz Dark Lord Funk gon’ give it to ya!

Cuz Dark Lord Funk gon’ give it to ya!

Saturday night and we takin Hogwarts

Don’t believe me, just watch! (Come on!)

Don’t believe me, just watch! (x5)

Hey, Hey, Hey, Oh!

Stop!

Wait a minute

Fill my goblet, put some fire in it

Grasp the hands, make the vow

Come on ‘Trix, seal this now!

We takin Diagon, Knockturn, Hogsmede, Anywhere!

If we show up, we gon’ curse out

Badder than that Devil’s Snare (Ha!)

I’m too hot (hot hand)

Call an Auror, try and stop this man

I’m too hot (hot hand)

Make a headmaster retire man

I’m too hot (hot hand)

Witch, say my name, you know who I am!

I’m too hot (hot hand)

Am I bad ‘bout this curse

Crucio now

Albus sent ya, hallelujah (Whoo)

Albus sent ya, hallelujah (Whoo)

Albus sent ya, hallelujah (Whoo)

Cuz Dark Lord Funk gon’ give it to ya!

Cuz Dark Lord Funk gon’ give it to ya!

Cuz Dark Lord Funk gon’ give it to ya!

It’s Saturday night and we takin Hogwarts

Don’t believe me, just watch! (Come on!)

Don’t believe me, just watch! (x5)

If you got the mark, then blast it

If you’re pureblood, we’ll have it

No need to fear the dark magic!

Come on, curse! Just cast it,

No need to fear the dark magic,

38 Weddings In 83 Days And All Over The World Too!

Cheetah Platt and Rhiann Woodyard are among the most adventurous souls you will ever find out there. They already have an acrobatic career to boast of and now, have another claim to fame – the couple that celebrated 38 weddings over 83 days, and all around the world!

“It was exactly what I wanted, to travel the world with my wife and marry her again and again and again in so many different ways. That was perfect for me. I feel like there are more people sharing this wedding with us than if we had rented a single venue for a single day and tried to invite everyone in the world that we knew,” Platt said, outlining the idea behind the extraordinary adventure.

As soon as Cheetah got a yes from Rhiann last year, the plans for the adventure began; and soon enough, they were off on their extraordinary trip!

The first flight that would take them on the journey of a lifetime took off on February 8th and since then, the duo have travelled across countries and continents, showing off their acrobatic skills and of course, getting married in many ceremonies! And since they are ordained, they can marry themselves to each other all the time!

Check out these photos and you’ll see just how incredible their journey has been. Of course, it’s still on and if you wish to contribute towards their dream, you can do that too!

Heartbreaking Image Of Doctor Goes Viral

In the medical profession, the loss of lives is unfortunately, almost always an everyday affair. Ask a team of doctors, nurses and EMT specialists who are in the midst of all the action each day and they’re sure to tell you stories of how they’ve seen precious lives sinking in spite of their best efforts to save them. But, it doesn’t mean they ever get used to the heartache of losing a life.

An image of an ER doctor, crouching down next to a wall after losing a 19-year old patient, has now gone viral and has helped hundreds of doctors as well as the loved ones of lost patients revisit the emotions that surround such a moment. Taken outside a hospital in Southern California by an EMT working there, the poignant image speaks of heartbreak in a way no words can.

NickMoore911, the one who posted the image that was taken by an EMT friend of his, wrote of the picture, “The man pictured was unable to save one of his patients. Though this is a common occurrence in our field of work, the patients we lose are typically old, sick, or some combination of the two. The patient that died was 19 years old, and for him, it was one of those calls we get sometimes that just hits you.”

“I think people should know that the care providers are just as human as the patients, and this shows that stronger than anything I’ve seen in a long while,” he continued.

He also shared how those in the profession have to quickly forget – they only have time to catch a breather such as this one in order to get back to doing what they do best – saving lives. “Within a few minutes, the doctor stepped back inside, holding his head high again,” Moore concluded.

The post has since garnered thousands of replies and comments, with plenty of doctors and the patients who have lost their loved ones, sharing their own stories through the post as well as their own blogs other media.

Alexander Bok Sues NYPD for $5 Million Over Prank Gone Wrong

Alexander Nzebele aka Alexander Bok has taken the NYPD to court and has filed a lawsuit demanding $5 million in damages over an Ellen DeGeneres dance dare gone wrong. The incident occurred in December last year and the video (see video below) of the episode had been splashed all over the internet.

It all went down on Christmas Eve when Alexander Bok, a dancer, entertainer, and in his own words, “your favorite prankster”, decided to film a video in preparation for the dance dare thrown by Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show. The dare asks participants to dance their heart out behind a person who is completely unaware that they are doing so.

Now Bok, in his enthusiasm to film a video that would bag him an appearance at the Ellen DeGeneres Show recorded several sequences that had him dancing away behind people who were complete unaware of his action. He then chose to do so in front of Grand Central Station and finding an NYPD van parked out on the street, chose a police officer as the perfect bystander. Now, while Bok moved his body “Gangnam Style”, a friend was shooting the entire episode, so it could be sent to Ellen’s show.

Well, barely does Bok’s dancing begin and the video then stops being fun, and even gets disturbing. A cop sitting in the van notices Bok’s dancing and gets down and confronts him. A group of officers then gathers around him, even pushing him against the van. The video shows Bok pleading with the cops, who finally decide that the dancer isn’t a threat after all and let him go. Only, instead of simply allowing him to walk away, one of the cops is seen pushing Bok to the ground, which is where the trouble begins.

According to some, Bok made two mistakes. First, he chose to do it behind an NYPD cop, and secondly, he did it when the cops of the city were on tenterhooks due to the recent murder of two of their colleagues as revenge over the non-indictment of an officer held responsible for Eric Garner’s death. To be fair to the cops, they certainly would have been in frame of mind that could be termed completely the opposite of Bok’s. Well, Bok doesn’t wish to hear about it and feels he was simply out to have some fun, and frankly, it wasn’t at anyone’s expense either so he is now out to claim some serious damage money – a cool $5 million.

In the lawsuit filed against the city and the NYPD, Bok claims that dancing is not a crime and amounts to freedom of speech. His lawyer Robert Tolchin, in the documents filed in the court, alleges that his client was not only manhandled but also abused during the course of the conversation with the police officers. “Just because a police officer did not like plaintiff’s dancing behind him for a few seconds did not give the officer, or the other five officers, the right to harass or verbally abuse the plaintiff, or to push him onto the ground,” says the documents. Speaking to the New York Post, Tolchin said even if the officers were on edge that didn’t give them the right to verbally or physically abuse 22-year old Bok. Bok too has voiced his reactions on the incident and told one newspaper, “In my mind I was just doing the ‘Ellen dance’. I never expected to go that way. Now I feel uncomfortable when I see police officers.”

Well, many feel what the police officers did was wrong, though they do admit that Bok’s timing could have been better. It is now up to the court to decide if Bok deserves the $5 million in damages he has demanded or not.

Do you think Alexander Bok is overreacting? Or do you think he was treated harshly? Let us know in the comments below!
