This Dancer Rocks Uptown Funk At TITP Festival

Dance like you would if no one was watching goes the old saying. Well, at the T in the Park Festival in Scotland, a young dancer definitely took this to heart and rocked out to Mark Ronson’s Uptown Funk.

His name is Fred Rawicz, and no, he did not particularly impress the gathered crowds with his moves, nor did his routine look like the ones of any professional dancer.

So why was his seemingly impromptu performance so impressive?

Just watch and you will see the utmost joy with which Fred gets into his routine and the sheer delight you can see on his face is all you need to appreciate in this one!

With people like Fred around, it sure doesn’t seem like too big a task to spread some smiles around – And don’t you just feel like dancing??

Check Out This Funky Treadmill Dance!

If you love anything to do with dance, then you’ll love this! And if you love anything to do with the Bruno Mars and Ronson’s Uptown Funk song, you will love this even more. And if you’ve ever fallen off a treadmill, this video will leave you open-mouthed!

This treadmill dance video from Carson Dean not only shows just how great a dancer he is, but also shows how great he is on the treadmill.

Working his way gracefully and funkily through the hit song, Carson makes it look too easy!

But don’t be fooled! You can be just as clumsy on the treadmill as you were before. Watching this video does not help you do the same things that Carson manages to do with ease! So please do not try this the next time you’re on the treadmill at the gym and Uptown Funk begins to play!

This Uptown Funk Fan Video Has 280 Films In It!

There are plenty of fan videos based on Uptown Funk out there and frankly, the catchy song and its interesting lyrics deserve all the attention it gets, but one fan seems to have truly gotten down to paying homage!

Using snippets from around 280 films and fitting them into the song, YouTube user dondrapersayswhat has uploaded a video that is indeed an impressive piece of work. Considering the effort it took to make this, it’s no surprise that it took a patient three months to make!

And since dondrapersayswhat does it using snippets from around 280 films, we just have to say that it seems like a tribute to movies as well as music!

Here’s the video. Prepare to be amazed!

Michelle Obama Continues To Rock On!

If there’s one thing America’s first ladies of the future can learn from Michelle Obama, it’s how to rock even as the female counterpart of the country’s powerful leader!

In spite of the high office she comes from, Lady Obama sure knows how to look good no matter which role she steps in and around Easter this year, Obama made sure that the world knew about it! From her performance at the White House Easter Egg Roll right after Easter Sunday to her inspiring speech at the Black Girls Rock event, the First Lady made sure she gave all the other public figures a run for their money.

The 2015 Black Girls Rock Awards aired on BET on April 5th and the inspiring speech that Obama gave during the ceremony was talked about for days, and will serve as an inspiration for many black girls from this one as well as coming generations for years to come.

Obama took to the stage and through the loud applause she shouted out, “Black girls rock!” again and again, laying emphasis on the theme for the evening, as well as reiterating what she wanted the young girls in the audience to truly believe.

She spoke of how the reactions of the world outside will always instill moments of self-doubt and how it is up to every girl to rise up to those trials and face them with courage and self-confidence. “When I was a girl, I had parents that loved and believed in me, but those doubts still worked their way into my head. And I was always worried about something. Does my hair look right? Am I too tall? Do I raise my hand too much in class? So when folks said a girl like me shouldn’t aspire to go to the very best colleges in the country I thought ‘Maybe they’re right,’” Obama said, speaking of her own doubts.

Then, the 51-year old spoke of how she rose up to these questions and found the answers. “Eventually I learned that each of those doubts were like a little test, that I could either shrink away from or rise up to meet, and I decided to rise,” she said in her own unique and rousing way – and the crowds loved it!

Speaking of her own challenges as she grew up in a world where it was tough being a strong, confident woman, Obama encouraged all the girls out there to go from “being black girls who rock to being black women who rock.” Just like her!

Surely, this was a message that would inspire so many out there!

Then, to show off her fun side, there was her dance performance to Uptown Funk at the White House Easter Egg Roll on the Monday after Easter. Rocking the stage with the So You Think You Can Dance stars, Obama proved that being over 50 is in no way an impediment to rocking the stage with contemporary moves. She had of course showed off her moves on the Ellen Show as well as with Jimmy Fallon, but this was special since it was part of the White House’s Easter celebrations.

Add these events to a long list of impressive public appearances Michelle Obama has rocked during her years as the First Lady and you just know that she’s the best!

Voldemort Concocts A Brilliant Uptown Funk Parody!

Uptown Funk isn’t going away anytime soon, especially with brilliant parodies like this one of the Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars hit. And if parodies like Dark Lord Funk keep hitting the Internet, it’s sure to stay around forever!

Harry Potter fans and music don’t really go together as far as proclaiming love for the franchise is concerned, but when you have a talented bunch of artists having a go at it, there’s isn’t much that can’t be done!

In this parody, Lord Voldemort – oh alright, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named – gets funky with his own set of lyrics and what hits you on-screen is hilarious, talented, and extremely intelligent!

Check this video out and you’ll see why even JK Rowling has fallen in love with this one!

We even have the lyrics for you to sing along!

This Wiz, I’m ice cold

I’m Voldemort, That White Gold

This one, for that H.P.

Says he hates me,

But what can he do?

Caught the kid, boy who lived

Harry’s outta luck

With the Elder wand, stop the chosen one

Maybe make a new horcrux? (Ha!)

I’m too hot (hot hand)

Call an Auror up to try and stop this man

I’m too hot (hot hand)

Make a headmaster retire man

I’m too hot (hot hand)

Don’t say my name, you know who I am!

I’m too hot (hot hand)

Am I bad ‘bout this curse,

Avada down now

Albus sent ya, hallelujah (Whoo)

Albus sent ya, hallelujah (Whoo)

Albus sent ya, hallelujah (Whoo)

Cuz Dark Lord Funk gon’ give it to ya!

Cuz Dark Lord Funk gon’ give it to ya!

Cuz Dark Lord Funk gon’ give it to ya!

Don’t believe me, just watch! (Come on!)

Don’t believe me, just watch! (x5)

Hey, Hey, Hey, Oh!

Fill my goblet, put some fire in it

Grasp the hands, make the vow

Come on ‘Trix, seal this now!

We takin Diagon, Knockturn, Hogsmede, Anywhere!

If we show up, we gon’ curse out

Badder than that Devil’s Snare (Ha!)

I’m too hot (hot hand)

Call an Auror, try and stop this man

I’m too hot (hot hand)

Make a headmaster retire man

I’m too hot (hot hand)

Witch, say my name, you know who I am!

I’m too hot (hot hand)

Am I bad ‘bout this curse

Crucio now

Albus sent ya, hallelujah (Whoo)

Albus sent ya, hallelujah (Whoo)

Albus sent ya, hallelujah (Whoo)

Cuz Dark Lord Funk gon’ give it to ya!

Cuz Dark Lord Funk gon’ give it to ya!

Cuz Dark Lord Funk gon’ give it to ya!

It’s Saturday night and we takin Hogwarts

Dark Lord Funk you up, Dark Lord Funk you up

Dark Lord Funk you up, Dark Lord Funk you up

I said Dark Lord Funk you up, Dark Lord Funk you up

Dark Lord Funk you up, Dark Lord Funk you up

Come on, curse! Just cast it,

If you got the mark, then blast it

If you’re pureblood, we’ll have it

No need to fear the dark magic!

Come on, curse! Just cast it,

No need to fear the dark magic,

Saturday night and we takin Hogwarts,

Don’t believe me, just watch! (Come on)

Don’t believe me, just watch! (x5)
